St Paul, MN Roof Replacement Project

This St Paul home is a log sided single story with a long, low pitched roof plane and a covered porch running most of the front elevation. The original asphalt roof had reached the end of its service life, with worn and lifting shingles across the main slope, so the homeowner opted for a full tear off and replacement rather than another round of patching.

Work started with site protection. Our crew laid tarps across the lawn and garden beds along the full drip line and kept the driveway clear for material handling, because on a home like this the landscaping and the play area sit directly under the eaves. Ladders went up at both ends of the run so the crew could move without crossing the same section twice.
